Robert O. Steele joined the library staff in 2009 as a cataloging librarian after many years as an educator in both academic and public school settings. He provides access to materials written in French and other Western European languages, including historical materials in the French Collection. A member of Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Phi Mu, he also maintains membership in the American Association of Law Libraries, the American Library Association and the Modern Language Association. He continues to pursue research in classification theory and publishing and media history in relationship to politics and national identity.
