Ronna Lee Beck is a judge on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. Appointed in 1995 and reappointed in 2010, she has served in the criminal, civil, and family divisions of the court. Judge Beck received her BA from the University of Michigan and her JD from Yale Law School. During law school, she was an intern at the Center for Law and Social Policy in Washington D.C. 

Following a clerkship at the D.C. Superior Court, Judge Beck was an attorney at the D.C. Public Defender Service. From 1977-1985 she was an associate and then the first woman partner at the law firm of Rogovin, Stern, and Huge. Thereafter, Judge Beck continued in private practice until her appointment to the bench.
