An accomplished federal, military, and private sector individual rights and trial attorney, Tamara L. Miller, managing partner in MillerMasciola, represents clients in federal and state court, and in administrative proceedings. She is a retired member of the Senior Executive Service and a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel with over 28 years of progressive leadership, legal, and policy experience. Ms. Miller has served as Deputy Director for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services; Director of Civil Rights and Special Counselor at the U.S. Transportation Security Administration; Deputy Chief in the Criminal Section of the Civil Rights Division, U.S. Department of Justice; and Staff Judge Advocate for the Maryland Air National Guard. A gifted speaker and trainer, Ms. Miller has been a frequent guest lecturer on civil rights enforcement, diversity, and change management, speaking to audiences of law enforcement officials, educators, policy makers, and students, both nationally and internationally.
