Thomas R. Snider is a Counsel at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP where he specializes in international arbitration. During his career, he has represented foreign states and corporate entities in a wide range of international dispute resolution matters, including state-to-state arbitration, international commercial arbitration, international investment disputes, and U.S. court litigation involving the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act. From 2001 to 2009, Mr. Snider was a member of the legal team representing the Government of Ethiopia before the Eritrea-Ethiopia Claims Commission, an international tribunal that adjudicated state-to-state claims for loss, damage, and injury arising during an international armed conflict. In this context, he worked as a resident attorney in Ethiopia from 2002 to 2004.
