How did you become interested in law?

I became interested in law when I started taking relevant classes undergrad and realized how interesting they were to me! I also had the opportunity to work for the District Attorney in Tuscaloosa, where I completed my undergraduate degree, and fell in love with it. Ever since that experience, I knew law school was what I wanted to do.

What do you enjoy most about living in DC?

My favorite thing about DC is that it’s the best of both worlds. We have that big city feel with the amazing food, museums, and opportunities that come with it, while also having a lot of green space to be more active. DC is the perfect city to be a professional and also experience nature.

What’s your favorite GW Law memory?

My favorite GW law memory was planning the 2018 1L Orientation and seeing Professor Buergenthal speak about his experiences during the Holocaust, and how he has overcome that experience and become involved in the international legal community. He has been able to help so many people since moving to America, and his story was a truly inspiring way to kick off the school year.
