Environmental and Energy Joint Degree Programs

GW Law and School of Public Health

The Law School and the Milken Institute of Public Health offer joint Juris Doctor–Master's of Public Health (JD/MPH) and Master's of Laws–Master's of Public Health (LLM/MPH) degree programs. A coordinated curriculum is offered with the Milken Institute School Environmental and Occupational Health department , allowing JD/MPH and LLM/MPH students to focus on environmental issues.  A graduate certificate program in public health also is offered for both JD and LLM candidates.


GW Law and the Elliott School

The Law School also offers a joint JD-Master's of Arts in International Affairs through George Washington’s highly regarded Elliott School of International Affairs. The Elliott School’s Master's degree in International Development Studies offers students the opportunity to focus on natural resources and environmental issues related to development with a rich curriculum including the following courses:

GW Law and the School of Business

The Law School also offers a joint JD/Masters in Business Administration with the option of concentrating in Environmental Policy and Management. This concentration provides students with multi-disciplinary perspectives, information, and experiences on the variety, complexity, and integration of environmental issues and business, government, and non-profit organizations, including the roles of individual, society, and technology.
