Lawyers Cabinet & In-House Counsel Guild

The Center has formed two advisory bodies designed to assist the Center in its goal of improving the administration of complex litigation in the federal courts and to carry out the mandate of Civil Rule 1 and assure the "just, speedy, and inexpensive determination" of all these cases. The support of the members of these two advisory groups is critical to the Center’s viability. If you believe in the center’s work, which brings the bench and bar together in unique forums to develop practical solutions to tough legal problems, please consider joining one of the advisory groups.

Lawyers Cabinet

The members of one group, known as the Cabinet, are lawyers who have demonstrated an interest and willingness to improve the way that complex proceedings, including class actions, Multi District Litigations, and ediscovery are conducted. Members are listed on the Center's website. They receive Center emails and program and event invitations. Members also are recognized by name in various Center publications and webpages.

In-House Counsel

The members of the other group, known as the Guild, are general counsels, heads of litigation departments, and other senior in-house counsel  have expressed similar interests in improving the administration of justice in the federal courts. Members will be listed on the Center's website, receive Center emails and program and event invitations. Members also are recognized by name in various Center publications and webpages.
