Public Interest Advisory Council

The newest of the Advisory Councils, the GW Law Public Interest Advisory Council (PIAC) is the primary advisory body to the Law School’s Public Interest/Public Service program. It is a diverse group that advises the Dean, the Public Interest Program Director, and the Faculty Director, to assist the faculty and staff in assuring that the Law School prepares students for careers in the nonprofit and government sectors. Membership in the Council is drawn from private practice, corporate practice, government practice, and nonprofit organizations. It reflects diversity in age, gender, race, and ethnicity.
