Student Bar Association (SBA)

As the student government for the George Washington Law School, the Student Bar Association (SBA) works to give students the best possible school experience. The SBA performs

many functions, including advocating on behalf of students to both the Law School and University Administrations, supporting students in their academic and professional goals, and providing a support system for students as they navigate the ups and downs of law school.

SBA organizes events and provides services to and for students which not only give them the opportunity to grow academically and professionally but also gives them the chance to get to know other students and have a vibrant social experience while in school. As a part of this mission, SBA oversees all law school student organizations, provides networking and academic events, and organizes social events for our students.
