Scott Gilmore, JD ‘12, was named “Lawyer of the Week” by The Times of London, which highlighted his work with the Center for Justice and Accountability. In one of his most prominent cases, Mr. Gilmore served as the lead counsel for the family of Marie Colvin, the Sunday Times war correspondent who was killed in Syria in February 2012. In a ruling issued by United States District Court in Washington, her family was awarded an unprecedented $302.5 million for the “unconscionable crime.”
