Clayton P. Solomon

Clayton Solomon is the Global Head of Investigations at SAP.

Previously, from 2019 through 2026, Mr. Solomon was a senior federal prosecutor in the U.S. Department of Justice's Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) Unit. In that role, Mr. Solomon investigated and prosecuted FCPA, Foreign Extortion Prevention Act (FEPA), money laundering, and other white-collar crimes. While at the Department of Justice (DOJ), he tried seven federal trials, including three FCPA trials. In 2024, he earned the Assistant Attorney General's Award for Distinguished Service in connection with the prosecution of the International Commodities Trading Companies cases.

Prior to joining DOJ's Criminal Division, Mr. Solomon was an Assistant United States Attorney in the Civil Division of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York, where he worked on DOJ's Residential Mortgage Backed Securities Task Force. In his ten years at DOJ, he helped the government recover over $1.5 billion in criminal and civil penalties.

Mr. Solomon previously worked at Hogan Lovells and clerked for the Hon. Paul C. Huck of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He attended the University of Maryland School of Law and has an LLM in International Law from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, where he studied on a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship. He earned his undergraduate degree from Florida International University.
