GW Law celebrated 32 graduates at its annual Mid-Year Graduation Luncheon on November 22nd.
Of the 32 graduates, 13 are Juris Doctor candidates, 18 are Master of Laws candidates, and one is a Master of Studies in Law candidate. The 2024 graduates represent the wide range of diversity and talent that makes up GW Law. Twelve of our LLM graduates are foreign-trained attorneys.
The mid-year graduates include an Army Judge Advocate General, a Judicial Assessor in the Polish justice system, an associate at a law firm in Lagos, Nigeria, a graduate earning his third LLM degree, and both student advisors to the LLM Buergenthal Inn of Court.
In remarks to honor the occasion, Dean Dayna Bown Matthew noted the impressive accomplishments of the graduates.
“Today, we pass the torch to you, the newest members of our alumni family, as you write the next chapter in our law school’s history and your own book of success,” Dean Matthew said. “You graduate as professionals prepared to write, advocate, innovate, create, and pursue the highest ideals of law and justice. Your time at GW Law has prepared you to impact the world, and the law school community looks forward to your future achievements.”
Following their official graduation date of January 10th, the graduates will join more than 33,000 GW Law alumni spanning the globe.
