GW Law recently launched a new exclusive networking and mentorship platform called Law Link designed to support law students launching their careers.

GW Law Link will enhance the GW Law community by allowing alumni to reconnect with classmates, share their expertise with students, learn from one another, and even give and receive professional referrals.

More than 500 alumni are already using the platform from all across the country, 80% of whom have indicated they are actively willing to help students who are seeking a mentor. The top practice areas represented on GW Law Link are Intellectual Property Law, Business and Finance Law, Government Procurement Law, International and Comparative Law, and Health Law.

The alumni on the platform include:

  • In-House Counsel attorneys from Google, Microsoft, the Walt Disney Company, and more;
  • Attorneys that work in government including as Judge Advocate Generals, judges, assistant district attorneys and at the SEC, DOJ, and on Capitol Hill;
  • Partners at big law firms, small and medium sized firms and solo practitioners; and
  • Attorneys from ACLU regional offices, the Human Rights Campaign, and the Coalition for Justice.

The platform is almost ready to welcome students, so now is the time to create a profile. It takes 90 seconds or less. Sign up today!
