Immigration and the Undocumented Food System

An Evening With Dolores Huerta & Chef José Andrés
Tue, 10 September, 2019 4:30pm

Dolores Huerta, tireless labor organizer and Founder and President of the Dolores Huerta Foundation, will take the stage with Chef José Andrés, internationally-recognized culinary innovator, to discuss the complex, and often contentious, issues surrounding immigration and the undocumented food system in the United States. After a brief introduction, Ms. Huerta will deliver a keynote lecture, followed by a conversation between her and José Andrés, moderated by GW School of Media and Public Affairs professor Dr. Imani Cheers. Students, faculty, staff, and members of the greater community will be able to ask questions in a Q&A after the conversation. This public lecture is part of World on a Plate, a course created and designed by Chef José Andrés at The George Washington University.

This event is free, but you must reserve a ticket here.
