IP Speaker Series: Dr. Anke Moerland

Join the Intellectual Property Law Program as it hosts Dr. Anke Moerland, Assistant Professor of Intellectual Property Law, Maastricht University. Dr. Moerland will be giving a talk entitled Is Greek Yogurt Really Greek? Safeguarding the Link between a Geographical Indication's Reputation and the Geographical Area.

Geographical indications have become increasingly important, particularly in Europe and in some developing countries, and Prof. Moerland will be speaking about how they are protected, and how the qualifications for using a GI can be amended.
