John H. Sturc is a retired partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP where he was a co-chair of the firm's Securities Enforcement Practice Group. His practice focused on the representation of public companies, brokerage firms, investment advisors, accounting firms, law firms and their respective officers, directors and partners in securities law enforcement matters. Previously, Mr. Sturc was an associate director of the Division of Enforcement of the Securities & Exchange Commission and as an Assistant United States Attorney. Recently, he served as chief counsel of the Office of Financial Stability of the United States Department of the Treasury. Mr. Sturc currently serves as a member of the National Adjudicatory Council of the Financial Regulatory Authority.
