John Longwell is an attorney in private practice specializing in antitrust, corporate governance, and securities law. He previously served as general counsel of Infogroup Inc., a publicly traded marketing services company, and as an associate in the Washington, D.C., offices of Paul,Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP and Kellogg, Huber, Hansen, Todd, Evans & Figel PLLC. He was a law clerk to Associate Justice Stephen G. Breyer during the October 2005 Term of the U.S. Supreme Court. He also clerked for Chief Judge Douglas H. Ginsburg of the D.C. Circuit and Chief Judge Vaughn R. Walker of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California in San Francisco. He began teaching antitrust law at GW in 2009.
