Mr. Barnes clerked for the Honorable Richard E. Jordan of the Circuit Court for Montgomery Maryland. Upon completion of his clerkship, he served as an Assistant State’s Attorney in the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office for four years. Thereafter, Mr. Barnes transitioned to private practice, where his practice has focused on complex business litigation matters, involving construction, employment, professional liability, insurance coverage and products liability. He is currently a partner at the law firm Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani. Mr. Barnes previously taught for a private tutoring company before he attended law school.
