Karen A. Henenberg is a retired Virginia trial court judge, having served as a judge for 20+ years. She continues to regularly preside as a substitute judge in the District Courts in Virginia.

She is a faculty member of the National Trial Advocacy College at the University of Virginia School of Law, having taught and participated as a trial judge for over 20 years. She has taught Trial Advocacy as an Adjunct Professor of Law at George Mason University School of Law since 2007.

Judge Henenberg is a Facilitator Judge in the Virginia Judicial Performance Evaluation Program and a Virginia Supreme Court certified mediator.

Prior to her judicial career, Judge Henenberg served as an Assistant Commonwealth Attorney in Arlington, was a legal instructor to police at the Northern Virginia Criminal Justice Academy, and was in private practice engaged in criminal and civil litigation.

She is a member of the National Association of Women Judges, and the Virginia Association of Women Judges.
