Krista A. Nunez is an associate in the Government Contracts practice in Morrison & Foerster’s Washington, D.C. office.  Her practice is focused on advising and representing contractors in bid protests, internal and external investigations, contract claims and disputes, and compliance with Federal statutes and regulations.  Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, she clerked for the Honorable Loren A. Smith of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. 

Mrs. Nunez received her Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School in 2017 and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami in 2013.  While in law school, she interned for the Honorable Thomas C. Wheeler of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and at the Office of General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Law Division for Acquisition and Procurement.  Mrs. Nunez was also a Writing Fellow, served as a Notes Editor on the Public Contract Law Journal, won the 2016 government contracts moot court competition, and graduated as a Murray J. Schooner Government Procurement Scholar.
