As Deputy General Counsel of Paralyzed Veterans of America, Ms. Blauhut manages PVA’s veterans claims litigation and has more than 30 years of experience representing veterans and other VA claimants before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Paralyzed Veterans of America is a national nonprofit focusing on veterans and disability rights, and Ms. Blauhut also represents the organization in matters involving corporate bylaws issues, contracts, and compliance with local and federal law on issues ranging from charitable giving to labor law; she has also developed outreach and awareness campaigns to educate the public on veterans law.

Ms. Blauhut is a member of the Virginia and DC bars and is an arbitrator for the DC Bar’s Attorney/Client Arbitration Board. She also mentors attorneys nationwide who take veterans cases through the Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program.

As a George Washington University Law School adjunct, Ms. Blauhut teaches Veterans Advocacy and Public Interest Lawyering in the spring semester.
