Love is in the air! This Valentine's Day, we heard from alumni Bridgette and Michael Gershoni, JD '16, to hear how they found love at GW Law.
"Neither of us believed Professor Schechter when he told us at orientation that we might marry someone in the room. But after being in the same section, studying for the same classes, and partnering together for the 1L Mock Trial competition, we learned that we didn’t only work well together in an academic or professional setting—we worked well together in life. We were both interested in Intellectual Property and were so honored to win GW Law’s Giles Rich Moot Court Competition that we ended up naming our dog “Giles.” We’re continuing to build upon the foundation we built at GW Law by working together at Arnold & Porter—the only difference being now we share the same last name."
