Luize E. Zubrow

After graduating from law school, Luize E. Zubrow clerked for Judge James E. Doyle of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin and for Judge Thomas E. Fairchild of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Before joining the Law School faculty in 1981, Professor Zubrow practiced law with Covington & Burling in Washington, D.C., and taught at the University of Colorado School of Law. Her teaching, research, and consulting interests focus on issues of bankruptcy and commercial law. Professor Zubrow has twice received the law school’s Distinguished Faculty Service Award, selected by vote of the 1986 and 1990 graduating classes. Professor Zubrow continues to be active in the administration of the law school's summer public interest program.
