Margaret M. Cassidy is the principal owner of Cassidy Law, a firm specializing in corporate ethics and compliance and criminal defense. Before starting her firm, Ms. Cassidy was the Government Ethics and Compliance Leader for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Washington D.C., and before moving to D.C. she was Global Compliance Counsel for GE Transportation in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Ms. Cassidy has also worked as both a local and state criminal prosecutor in Pennsylvania. She investigated and prosecuted both street crimes and white-collar crimes, close to 100 jury trials, and countless non-jury trials. Right after law school, Ms. Cassidy was an appellate law clerk for the Twelfth District Court of Appeals in Ohio. Currently, Ms. Cassidy is a member of the D.C. Superior Court and D.C. Appellate Court CJA panels, and she serves as a hearing officer for the D.C. Board of Professional Responsibility.

Ms. Cassidy serves on the boards of the National Coalition of Homeless Veterans and the Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts. Ms. Cassidy lives in D.C. and is admitted to practice in Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania. She is also admitted but inactive in Ohio and New York.
