Mark A. Ries

Mark A. Ries recently joined Northrop Grumman as a litigation counsel for the global aerospace, defense, technology, and security company, managing a wide-range of litigation, including bid protests and contract disputes. For the previous five years, Mr. Ries was in private practice in Crowell & Moring's Government Contracts Group representing government contractors in procurement law matters, including bid protests, internal investigations, ethics and compliance, interpretation of FAR and agency supplement contract clauses and solicitation provisions, and contract claims and disputes. He joined Crowell & Moring following his 20-year U.S. Army career, during which his practice focused principally on government contract and fiscal law and included service on the faculty at The Army Judge Advocate General’s School.
