On June 3rd, we were joined by over 175 attendees from across the country to celebrate our in-person GW Law Reunion weekend. The weekend kicked off with the Stockton Guard brunch with Dean Dayna Bowen Matthew.

Being able to celebrate my first GW Law Reunion back on campus was an incredible experience and the perfect way to cap off an amazing year at GW Law. From the informative panel discussions, to the Family Friendly BBQ, to handing out alumni awards and class cups at our climactic dinner at the Ritz-Carlton, it was wonderful to get to meet and interact with alumni from across the years and the country. We cannot wait to host our classes of 3's and 8's next spring, and know that Reunion Weekend is only going to get bigger and more fabulous.”

We celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the Jacob Burns Legal Clinics. This event offered a unique opportunity for alumni to explore the history of the Clinical Program through the lens of our clinician and administrative leadership starting in the early 1970’s, continuing into the 21st Century, and into a very bright future.
On Saturday, Associate Dean for Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Carmia Caesar led a Diversity Roundtable discussion. This event was followed by a Fireside Chat with Dean Dayna Bowen Matthew and Professor Steve Schooner. The day concluded with an All Alumni and Class Dinner. Over the course of the weekend we announced our Reunion Weekend award recipients!
