Recently, I had the privilege of joining the Business & Finance Law (BFL) Program in a new capacity at GW Law to work on expanding an already excellent program and fostering student and alumni relationships. Already over my two years with the BFL Program, I have been impressed with the brilliance of the faculty scholarship and student engagement. In this time, I have had the opportunity to bring a new FinTech seminar course offering into the program. The first-time course offering was a microcosm and testament to the unique character at GW, with the embrace of both students and faculty to meet novel and challenging developments in the law.

Over the course of the next few months, I am excited to be working on the student-alumni mentorship rollout for students in the Business & Finance Law Program. It is my hope that this is not only a model to showcase our fantastic aspiring lawyers in the program, but also an opportunity to fulfill the generous offers of time and expertise from alumni.

As my students are familiar with in class, I strive for parsimony. So with that, I will say that I am looking forward to meeting more students and alumni of the GWNY program, and thank you for an already very warm welcome at GW Law.
