Chung Kun Park

C.K. Kevin Park primarily represents financial institutions and financial services companies in government enforcement matters, with a focus on the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and state consumer financial protection agencies. Mr. Park also advises on regulatory compliance matters for insured depository institutions and their holding companies, FinTech firms, payment processors and systems, money transmitters, virtual currency and other digital asset businesses, and technology and service providers working with financial institutions.

Prior to joining Sidley, Mr. Park was a financial services associate for a national law firm, where he primarily represented payment processors, money transmitters, and FinTech firms on a range of financial services matters, including regulatory compliance and enforcement, government investigations, and civil litigation.

Mr. Park earned his JD, with honors, from The George Washington University Law School and received a BA in political science and a BS in management science from the University of California, San Diego.
