Andrew Ting has led legal, compliance, and government affairs teams as an executive at financial services companies, technology companies, and venture capital funds, including the American Bankers Association, Panorama Education, Koalafi, SpringHarbor Financial Group, Promontory MortgagePath, and Canapi Ventures. Mr. Ting previously worked at Latham & Watkins as a corporate, intellectual property, and financial services lawyer, representing startups and Fortune 500 companies in M&A, financing, and technology transactions. Before becoming a lawyer, he was a management consultant, primarily for pharmaceutical industry clients.
Mr. Ting graduated from Harvard College and Harvard Law School. He is also an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, where he teaches Startup Law.
Mr. Ting has published articles addressing artificial intelligence, intellectual property, financial regulations, risk management, privacy, and corporate law matters. He is also a co-inventor for several patent applications in the financial services and technology fields.
