Polly Craighill is a senior counsel in the Office of the Legislative Counsel of the U.S. Senate where she has been drafting legislation for over 23 years. She is responsible for drafting in a wide variety of areas, including tax, trade, and banking. After graduating from law school, she clerked for the Honorable Burnita Shelton Matthews on the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. She was in private practice and served in the Executive Branch, before joining the United States Senate Office of the Legislative Counsel.
