Rule 26(b)(1) Discovery Proportionality: "New Framework" Webinar

Please join the GW Complex Litigation Center at the first of three webinars, explaining the "New Framework," the discovery proportionality model, which is out for public comment until March 31, 2022. The New Framework quantifies the four pertinent Rule 26(b)(1) proportionality factors, so that the parties and judge can more meaningfully evaluate what information is proportional to the needs of the case and is discoverable. The Center is providing the webinar at no cost.

The 55-page draft New Framework, along with a cost calculator, which is the most sophisticated of its kind, was developed by more than 50 experts and lawyers over a 24-month period. This first webinar will focus on the one-page discovery roadmap, which implements the New Framework. The webinar provides an overview, explains the main purposes, runs through an example, and addresses questions and concerns about the New Framework.  Please join John Rabiej, Mandi Ross, and Honorable George Hanks (S.D.
