Sadev Parikh

Sadev Parikh is a Visiting Associate Professor of Law and Privacy and Technology Law Fellow at the George Washington University Law School. His research examines how dominant technology firms entrench their positions and shape society: through algorithms that set prices, standards that judge artificial intelligence, and definitional power over contested concepts such as ‘privacy.’ He studies how law and new technologies can open those positions to challenge, especially in conditions of diminished state capacity. He is also a Visiting Fellow at Yale Law School with the Information Society Project.

Professor Parikh joined GW Law from the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, where he served as a Trial Attorney from 2023 to 2026 and litigated cases including United States v. Google (Ad Tech) and United States v. Apple. Before law school, he led projects mapping emerging technologies as a Manager of Enterprise Strategy at Quid, worked as a Senior Analyst on Salesforce’s Global Business Planning and Strategy Team, and coordinated NIH-funded neuroscience and open-science research at Stanford.

Professor Parikh earned a JD from Georgetown Law, where he founded the school’s Law and Political Economy chapter, and an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, where he worked on platform regulation, competition, and cooperative governance at the Mossavar-Rahmani and Berkman Klein Centers and served as a Teaching Assistant to former U.S. Secretary of Defense Ash Carter. He graduated magna cum laude with distinction in all subjects from Cornell University where he studied in the College Scholar Program alongside majors in Philosophy and Government.
