Second Annual International Legal Careers Symposium

Join GW Law, the Georgetown University Law Center, and American University Washington College of Law for the Second Annual International Legal Careers Symposium.

The International Legal Careers Symposium is designed for LL.M. students and recent LL.M. graduates at who are interested in careers in international law, specifically public interest careers at international organizations, governments and NGOs. The event was created to provide students with essential information regarding postgraduate legal opportunities here in Washington, D.C., and beyond. Each panel will consist of a guided Q&A on job applications with legal practitioners from that organization, with time reserved at the end for questions from the audience. The Washington Foreign Law Society (WFLS) Networking Event is an interactive session: practitioners from the WFLS will provide networking tips for international attorneys and network with attendees in small groups. Learn more on the International Legal Careers Symposium Website.

All sessions will take place virtually over the Zoom platform. 

Please register for the Second Annual International Legal Careers Symposium by Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 3:00 pm ET. Zoom links will be sent to all registrants by the end of the day Tuesday, November 16.

LLM, JD, MSL, and SJD students and alumni are welcome.
