About the Honorable Richard Linn

Judge Linn was appointed to the court by President Bill Clinton in 1999, after more than 20 years in private practice. He is a past president of the Giles S. Rich American Inn of Court, a member of the Richard Linn American Inn of Court, a visiting member of the Hon. William C. Conner American Inn of Court, and an honorary lifetime member of the Benjamin Franklin American Inn of Court. For the Katz Lecture, Judge Linn will reflect on his experience and perspective as a Federal Circuit Judge and a member of the patent law profession.
