Sierra Brummett is the Assistant Program Director for Professional Development at GW Law. She runs the 1L Inns of Court professional development program as well as the 1L and Upper-Level Foundations of Practice professional development programs. She is also an adjunct faculty member as a professor of "An Introduction to the 1L Classroom."

As a graduate of GW Law and an alumnus of the O’Connor Inn of Court, Sierra is committed to ensuring that students continue to receive the high-quality and critical professional development training these unique and valuable programs offer. She is especially interested in mentoring first-generation students and empowering them to make the most of their legal education.

Prior to joining GW Law in August 2018, Sierra worked in banking and finance policy in the United States Senate and at a lobbying firm dedicated to increasing access to foreign language education. She received her law degree in 2018 from the George Washington University Law School and her BA in moral philosophy from Pacific University in Oregon.

In her spare time, Sierra enjoys painting, traveling, and all things related to BTS.
