Stacy Plotkin Silber is a Principal at the law firm of Lerch, Early & Brewer, where she currently serves on its Management Committee.

Ms. Silber is a land use attorney who helps clients build communities. She focuses her land use practice in Montgomery and Prince George's Counties, where she assists clients in navigating the complexities of securing the necessary approvals for their projects at the local and state levels of government. Focusing on urban redevelopment near transit, Ms. Silber helps clients with residential, mixed-use, senior housing, institutional, office and retail projects.

Ms. Silber is passionate about mentorship of those interested in, and those getting involved with the commercial real estate industry. For over twenty years, she has served as an adjunct professor at The George Washington University Law School, where she co-teaches a land use course. In addition, she is involved in many pro-bono and professional associations, including serving on the Board of Directors for NAIOP DC/MD (where she Chairs the Advocacy and Leadership Committees). Ms. Silber has been honored by Bisnow as “Real Estate Leader of the Year.”

She is active in the Urban Land Institute (ULI), where she serves as a juror for ULI’s Terwilliger Center Annual Housing Awards, which awards the best of the best in affordable housing and mixed income communities throughout the United States and Canada. Ms. Silber also serves as a member of ULI’s National Revitalization Council. Prior to joining Lerch Early, she was a partner at the international law firm of Holland & Knight.
