Tanner Mathison is the Chief Information Officer at the Central Intelligence Agency, Office of Inspector General. Previously, he served as an associate counsel in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Intelligence Community Inspector General. Prior to his government service, Mr. Mathison worked for an international law firm on enforcement and litigation matters. He is also co-founder and director of Abaton, a nonprofit that develops novel decontamination devices and conducts medical research to assist with pandemic response.

Mr. Mathison graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School where he was a senior editor on the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. He also holds a master’s degree in data science from National Intelligence University, a bachelor’s degree in government from Dartmouth College, and a certificate in business management from the Wharton School of Business. Mr. Mathison is admitted in New York and the District of Columbia.
