Tazia Statucki is an Associate in the Litigation & Arbitration Group at Milbank LLP’s Washington, DC office. She has extensive experience in securities and financial services litigation, drawing on her service as Senior Counsel at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and her practice at leading international law firms. Her work at the SEC included advising on high-profile regulatory and enforcement matters in both the Office of the General Counsel and the Office of International Affairs, and she now represents clients in complex securities, commodities, and cross-border disputes in private practice.
At GW Law, Ms. Statucki combines her litigation and regulatory expertise with a strong commitment to student advocacy training. She has developed and implemented tailored coaching programs that have produced significant competitive success, including leading a student team to first place in the Spanogle International Commercial Arbitration Competition. She has mentored students in advanced legal research, case analysis, and oral advocacy, including one student who earned Best Oral Advocate honors in an advocacy competition. Her personalized feedback and advocacy training have helped students refine professional litigation skills.
