Thomas Tso

Mr. Tso clerked for the Honorable James L. Dennis on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Upon completion of his clerkship, he spent the last twelve years with the U.S. Department of Labor as a trial and appellate attorney. For the past six years, Mr. Tso managed the Department’s appellate and amicus program for the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA). He supervised the filing of over 50 appellate and amicus briefs, including the Department’s contribution in six ERISA cases before the Supreme Court. Over the past year, Mr. Tso served on detail as a senior counsel to the Solicitor of Labor, and as a White House Leadership Development Fellow with the Office of Management and Budget.
