William Collins

Will Collins works as an appellate public defender in Washington, DC, where he represents those convicted of violating DC’s municipal criminal code. Before becoming a public defender in DC, Mr. Collins worked as a Soros Justice Advocacy Fellow at the Louisiana Capital Assistance Center and as a law clerk for the Honorable Ginger Berrigan in the Eastern District of Louisiana. He graduated from Yale Law School and holds his Bachelor’s degree and Master of Public Policy from the University of Maryland, College Park. Mr. Collins is also the author of The Case for Eyewitness Identification Reform, with the American Bar Association.
