GW Law is excited to join our colleagues at the American Association of Law Schools' Annual Meeting in New Orleans this week.
Three GW Law faculty members—professors Karen Brown, Jessica Steinberg, and Alicia Solow-Niederman—will be honored in award ceremonies during the weekend. Professor Brown, the Theodore Rinehart Professor of Business Law, is receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award during the Taxation Section starting at 8 a.m. on Friday, January 9, in Churchill B1. Professor Steinberg, the John Marshall Harlan Dean's Research Professor of Law, will be honored with an award during the Empirical Study of Legal Education and the Legal Profession Section at 11:10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 7, in Grand Salon Section 10. And Professor Solow-Niederman will receive a scholarly paper competition honorable mention award during the AALS Awards ceremony at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 9, in the St. Charles Ballroom.
