Alum Wins ABA Juvenile Justice Award

In October, The American Bar Association honored Mark Friedenthal, JD ’95, with its Livingston Hall Juvenile Justice Award. The award recognizes lawyers who devote their legal practice to youth and children and make positive contributions to the field both inside and outside the courtroom. Mr. Friedenthal has served in a variety of roles at the Baltimore Office of the Public Defender for 15 years. “We are excited to present the Livingston Hall Juvenile Justice Award to Mark Friedenthal. He’s truly an unsung hero, who has dedicated his career to passionately advocate for Baltimore’s youth,” said Judge Bernice B. Donald, chair of the ABA Criminal Justice Section.
