Jason Belk

Dean of Students

Dean Belk oversees the function of the Dean of Students Office and works with students individually on a wide range of issues from personal concerns to academic status. He also counsels the Student Bar Association, helps to create new programming and outreach, and collaborates with other offices in the law school and across the university on academic and extracurricular ideas. Assistant Dean of Students

Dean Tiberio provides support to students through academic and personal counseling. Students can contact him about leaves of absence, Academic Scholarship Committee petitions, bar character and fitness questions - including supplemental disclosures - as well as any general questions they might have. Dean Tiberio is an advisor for both Brandeis and Jay Inns. Karly Bowen

Director of Wellness and Community Engagement

Karly Bowen is responsible for coordinating student programming at GW Law to build community, enhance student engagement, and foster a strong sense of belonging. She provides support to student organizations as well as the Open Doors Scholars, and collaborates with various law school offices to develop impactful initiatives. She is also advisor to the Cardozo Inn of Court. Karly earned her Ed.M. in Higher Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and is a graduate of Penn State Law. Director of Disability Services and Senior Academic Advisor

Andra Roy Chernack serves as the Law School's liaison to the University’s Disability Support Services Office to implement academic accommodations for law students registered with the University for support.  Her portfolio includes supporting law students with disabilities and advising joint degree students and transfer students. She has been a proud advisor to the O’Connor Inn of Court since its inception. Dan Prestwich

Director of Student Academic Services
