GW Law School and its International and Comparative Law Program have entered into a collaboration agreement with the Organization of American States (OAS).
The agreement recognizes the critical nature of advancing international law and opens an important space for the joint organization of educational activities, events, trainings, and initiatives to further common goals. The OAS is a key regional organization in the Americas, promoting the rule of law, human rights, peace, and sustainable development in the region, as well as inter-American legal cooperation.
“GW Law School is a global institution that works daily to advance international law, its principles, and values,” said Associate Dean Rosa Celorio, Director of the International and Comparative Law Program at GW Law. “Collaboration with critical and well-known institutions, such as the Organization of American States, is key to advance knowledge and understanding of international law, rule of law, and human rights issues. Formalizing our collaboration with the OAS will open important opportunities for our students and spaces for dialogue on current issues, challenges, and strategies to address them.”
GW Law School and its International and Comparative Law Program have been greatly enriched by OAS officials who have completed their LLM degrees at the law school. The school is proud of their many achievements and contributions as alumni.
The GW Law–OAS collaboration agreement encourages OAS personnel to continue completing their law degrees at George Washington University Law School.
