Robert T. Esposito is an associate in Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group in the firm’s New York office. He represents business enterprises, investors, entrepreneurs, and private investment funds in a variety of corporate and securities matters, including corporate formation, angel and venture financings, private investment fund formation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and ongoing compliance with state and federal securities laws and regulation. Mr. Esposito is a frequent speaker on social enterprise and impact finance law, and he has written extensively on the legal and regulatory issues relating to social enterprise corporate forms and venture and private equity impact investment funds. Mr. Esposito earned his LLM, with highest honors, from the George Washington Law School and his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. Prior to joining the Drinker Biddle & Reath, Mr. Esposito was an Impact Finance Fellow in the New York office of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP and was a Jacobson Fellow in Law and Social Enterprise at New York University School of Law. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College. Mr. Esposito is the co-creator of the Social Enterprise Law Tracker, an online interactive educational and data visualization tool that tracks the progress of social enterprise legislation across the United States.
