Weighing In on Cell Phone Search Cases

Orin Kerr, Fred C. Stevenson Research Professor of Law, has commented extensively on two cell phone search cases currently before the U.S. Supreme Court. As part of an ongoing struggle between privacy and technology, the Court is debating whether police need a warrant to search phones at the time of arrest.
