Blake D. Morant
National Jurist Magazine has named Blake D. Morant, Dean and Robert Kramer Research Professor of Law, to its list of "Most Influential People in Legal Education" from 2015. The annual list includes law school faculty members, administrators, and outside commentators, who are shaping the future of legal education.

The magazine recognized Dean Morant at number five for his work as the President of the Association of American Law Schools and his leadership at GW Law. Notably, Dean Morant presided over AALS' 2016 annual meeting, "From Challenge to Innovation: American Legal Education in 2016," and responded to criticisms leveled at legal education in The New York Times.

This is Dean Morant's third time appearing on the list. He was previously recognized for his work in 2013 and 2014.
