Ben Grillot is an Adjunct Professor of Legal Writing at GW Law. After a brief stint as an audio-visual archivist, digitizing Coca-Cola commercials for the Library of Congress, Mr. Grillot attended GW Law from 2007-2010. After graduation, he worked at Hughes Hubbard and Reed for four years doing complex litigation including international arbitration and anti-corruption and internal investigations. In 2014, Mr. Grillot joined the Department of Justice’s Environment and Natural Resources Division where he litigates on behalf of various Federal agencies in cases involving the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, and others. He teaches Fundamentals of Lawyering as well as Advanced Field Placement to upper-level students.
