Curt C. Haensel

Curt Haensel is an associate general counsel in the Office of the General Counsel of the Department of Defense, where he assists DoD components in drafting legislative proposals for transmission to Congress with a formal request for enactment as part of the National Defense Authorization Act. Before joining DoD, he was a senior counsel in the Office of the Legislative Counsel of the U.S. House of Representatives for 30 years, where he specialized in drafting legislation on highway, aviation, water resources, emergency management, and other transportation and infrastructure issues.
