Farewell to Professor Dienes

It is with great sadness that we report the death of Charles Thomas Dienes, Lyle T. Alverson Professor Emeritus of Law, who passed away at the age of 74 on Thursday, April 24. Professor Dienes was a beloved member of the GW Law community who was widely cited for his scholarship in the areas of constitutional and media law. Serving on the faculty since 1980, he will be remembered by the thousands of students he educated and inspired during his lifetime.
